A small, joyful preschool where children explore through play, art, music, and time in the garden. Bilingual program, certified teachers, capped at 32 children total.
We follow the Reggio Emilia philosophy โ children learn best when they're free to follow their curiosity. Our days are structured but not rigid.
Open art studio daily. Real materials. We make a lot of mess on purpose.
Weekly music class with a visiting teacher. Instruments, songs in two languages.
Each class has its own garden plot. We plant, water, harvest, eat together.
Two read-alouds per day. Library trip every Wednesday. Books in English & Spanish.
Small mixed-age groups with a 1:6 teacher-to-child ratio. Children stay with the same teacher for the full year.
Half-day or full-day. Focus on routines, language, friendship-building. Cuddles encouraged.
Full-day program. Independence, early phonics, gardening, conflict resolution.
Kindergarten prep. Reading, writing, math through play. Field trips monthly.
A predictable rhythm with plenty of room for the unexpected.
Gentle drop-off, free play in the studio.
Art, science, garden, music โ varies by day.
Family-style lunch, then garden + play.
Nap for younger, quiet play for olders.
We keep our team small and stable. Most have been with us 5+ years and have CDA or BA in Early Childhood.
BA in Early Childhood, Reggio-trained at the Loris Malaguzzi Center in Italy. Founded Little Cove in 2018.
Bilingual lead teacher. Music + movement specialist. Has a guitar always within reach.
CDA-certified, mother of three. Gentle, intuitive, the calming presence every 2-year-old needs.
"Our 3-year-old asks every weekend if she gets to go to 'school' that day. She runs in. That's the whole review."
"Ms. Maya remembers every child's favorite snack, every parent's name, every family's situation. The level of care is unmatched in Miami."
"We toured 6 preschools. Little Cove was the only one where the children seemed genuinely happy, not performing. We knew within 5 minutes."
Friday tours, 9am to 11am. You'll meet Ms. Maya, walk the garden, and see a class in action.
