Bridge House is a Miami-based nonprofit providing emergency housing, job training, and family support to women and children rebuilding their lives. Every gift, every hour, every voice helps.
"This place gave me the runway to rebuild. Now my kids have stability and I have a real career."
We believe nobody should have to choose between safety and a roof over their head. Our programs are built to be that bridge β between crisis and stability, between today and a real tomorrow.
Every program is staffed by licensed professionals, funded by donors, and free for those we serve.
30-90 days of safe, fully-furnished family housing for women and children leaving crisis situations. Trauma-informed staff on-site 24/7.
Vocational training in healthcare, IT, and trades. Resume coaching, interview prep, and direct employer placement.
Childcare, after-school programs, financial literacy, mental health services. Wraparound care so families can focus on rebuilding.
Maria came to Bridge House in early 2023 with her two children, ages 4 and 7. Within a week, the family had safe housing, the children were enrolled in our after-school program, and Maria began our Career Pathways program in healthcare.
Eight months later, she graduated certified, was placed with Jackson Memorial, and the family moved into stable housing of their own.
Her story is one of 2,400+ since we opened our doors.
Every gift, every hour, every voice creates someone's bridge home.
