A Bridge House Story

"I came in needing safety. I left with a future."

Eight months ago, I had two kids and no plan. Today, I'm certified as a medical assistant, my children are in school, and we just signed the lease on our first apartment.

Maria came to Bridge House in early 2023 with her two children, ages 4 and 7. Within a week, the family had safe housing, the children were enrolled in our after-school program, and Maria began our Career Pathways program in healthcare.

Eight months later, she graduated certified, was placed with Jackson Memorial, and the family moved into stable housing of their own.

Her story is one of 2,400+ since we opened our doors.
